Time + Tide Inclusions 

The rates include accommodation, all meals, standard drinks (soft drinks, house wine, beer and spirits), transfers to/from local airport (except Jeki Airport**), local inter-camp road transfers, laundry, service charge & 2 daily activities: Game drives (morning and afternoon), walking safaris, cultural visits, and boat cruises (seasonal). Fishing and canoeing (seasonal) are available at Time + Tide Chongwe Camps. Chongwe House, Albida & Cassia Suites have private vehicles and guides. A 20-minute welcome massage (Chinzombo, Chongwe House and Cassia and Albida Suites).

Miavana Inclusions

Rates include accommodation, all meals, selected premium wines and champagnes, top shelf spirits & bar drinks, laundry and the following activities: Guided lemur walks, forest walks, scuba diving around Miavana, resort diving lessons which include a discover scuba dive lesson, bubble maker or refresher course, snorkelling, boat cruises, island cultural visits, shore-based fishing, half-day fishing trips, surf-ski, water skiing, standup paddle boarding, wakeboarding, introductory kite-surfing lessons, a 20-minute welcome spa treatment per person, daily group yoga classes, bicycling, quad biking and the use of an electric buggy per villa.

Tsara Komba Inclusions 

Rates include accommodation and breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the Restaurant L’Atelier des Saveurs, in the Divine House Main Lodge, daily housekeeping, kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding and village tour.

Time + Tide Safaris Exclusions 

Rates exclude reserve spirits, wines and champagnes, entry visas, flights, Meet and Greet in Lusaka, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses and extras as listed below.

Relevant National Park fees and Conservation Levies to be added to accommodation cost (per person per night). These costs are subject to change.

Miavana Conservation + Access Levies

Conservation levies and access fees are additional to the accommodation cost (per person, per night) and will be added according to the total number of guests travelling (adults and children). Please note that these costs are subject to change.

Tsara Komba Conservation Levies

Relevant Conservation Levies to be added to accommodation cost (per person per stay). These costs are subject to change.

Bookings made within the same month of travel will be held for a maximum period of 5 days. For bookings made within 3 months of travel, a holding period of 2 weeks will be applied. For all bookings traveling 3 months and onwards from the date of booking, a maximum hold of 4 weeks will be applied. Bookings that fall within peak periods will be held for a maximum 7 days.

We reserve the right to release any bookings not confirmed within this period. In extraordinary circumstances, we will hold the booking for longer than 14 days.

Should there be requests for the same dates – we will require confirmation of the booking and payment of the deposit within 48 hours.

Maximum number of guests is 42. A minimum of a 5-night stay is required. Helicopter return transfer excluded. To accommodate all transfers to Miavana on the same day, a strict helicopter schedule will need to be adhered to and will be dependent on seasonality as well as passenger weights. Additional overnight charges will be applied in order for the helicopter pilots to reposition the day prior to arrival. A non-refundable commitment fee of 20% of total booking value is required to secure the accommodation. Full and final payment of remaining balance is required 90 days prior to arrival date.

Miavana operates 1 Robinson Turbine R66 helicopter, which takes a maximum of 3 passengers and flies with one pilot, and 1 Airbus H130 helicopter, which seats up to 6 passengers and one pilot. Infants aged 1 to 23 months can be seated on parents’ laps. Children aged 2 years and over must occupy their own seat under adult supervision. Helicopter seats operate with a maximum weight allowance, please ensure that you share each passenger’s weight so that our pilots may calculate the totals accurately. Should a passenger exceed the maximum weight allowance, a second seat may be charged. Unless specifically booked, all helicopter transfers may be shared. The specific helicopters used for each routing are determined by our operations team on the island. For stays of 5 nights or more, arrival and departure helicopter flights to / from Miavana, either from Diego Suarez or Nosy Be, are complimentary. Helicopter transfers to / from other areas in Northern Madagascar can be arranged at an additional charge. Prior to your arrival, please discuss preferred arrival / departure times with your Travel Designer. Our helicopters strictly operate during daylight hours. If for any reason guests are delayed on / off the island, Time + Tide cannot be held responsible if guests are unable to get to Miavana / mainland Madagascar. Any forced overnights are for the agent’s / guests’ account.

Miavana Luggage 2025 – 2026

Maximum luggage weight of 20kg (44lbs) + small handbag of 5kg (11lbs) per person. Soft sided luggage is required due to storage hold size limitations of the helicopters.

Excess luggage is not guaranteed to be brought to Miavana and if guests want to guarantee excess luggage they should inform the company well in advance.

There will be an additional cost charged for the guests’ account.
